Our community came together on Saturday for an evening of shared reflection and remembrance. At its heart was Fauré’s Requiem, with 160 Scratch Choir singers under the direction of Ben Vonberg-Clark who put the incredibly moving performance together in just one day.
A spellbinding new film of Curlew River, made during the 75th Aldeburgh Festival production at Blythburgh Church, will be broadcast on BBC Four at 7.45pm next Sunday, 17 November.

In their first Open Session of the 24-25 programme, Aldeburgh Young Musicians, guided by musicians from the Riot Ensemble, explored key themes and works from the contemporary music catalogue, including some of their own compositions.
