Ilu is orbited by three moons, two of which you can see below, the Watcher and the Dreamer. We used quads, custom shaders, and an alpha texture to make them stand out. Our celestial system now works with moon phases, which you can see in the video below! #indiedev#madewithunity

Our in-game day is split into 12 time periods driven by a custom shader that blends the sky hues to create something I am really satisfied with. The night hours in particular feature stars with different brightness, and if you look hard enough - constellations! #indiedev
