But Jonah “rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.” In other words, God gave him the assignment, but Jonah booked a ticket in the opposite direction. The call was real. The opportunity was real. But so was his disobedience. An assignment from God still requires obedience from you.
