East Riding Cross Country Final - Well done to our Y3/4 qualifier who, unfortunately, wasn't well enough to attend the race but should still be extremely proud of himself for qualifying for such an event. We look forward to seeing you run in the Year Five category next year!πββοΈ
E.Riding Cross Country Final - Our two Y6 participants did a brilliant job of keeping up with the leading pack in their respective races and were only a matter of seconds away from finishing in a medal position. Congratulations to both on such a magnificent achievement!πββοΈπββοΈπ
After a fabulous opening 1-0 victory over North Ferriby, our girls followed that with three other impressive performances which brought about an encouraging 4th place finish in the annual SHS Cluster football event earlier this week. Well done, girls! πβ½οΈ
It was a very encouraging start to the Y6 Boys football campaign last week with some impressive football played and wonderful goals scored. It wasn't quite enough to win the tournament on this occasion but I'm sure there'll be plenty of success to follow. Well done, boys! β½οΈ
Y5/6 - The children loved our recent PE session with Hull FC where the focus was on invasion. There was plenty of impressive footwork and ball handling on show! π πββοΈπββοΈ
2/2 This year saw 3 children qualify for the Final - an amazing success for our school considering only the top 3 runners from each category progressed. Huge congratulations to those individuals and a very special well done to every other pupil who took part.ππββοΈπββοΈ
The sporting calendar got underway with the annual KS2 cross country event at South Hunsley last week. We arrived with a very healthy number of competitors - the most in a few years - and lots of children participating for the first time in a South Hunsley transition event. 1/2
Y5/6 - Weβve shown some really impressive skills and technique so far in our Skip to the Beat PE unit. Here you can see us planning our very own group routines.
Our Brough 'B' netball team recently secured a 12-5 victory against Welton and, in the process, became winners of East Riding Group D...Champions!
Well done on an incredible run of winning performances from the start of the campaign to the end. An amazing achievement! π π
Each and every member of both Y6 netball teams has played a part in the overall success of our netball season and they should each be very proud of their achievements. We, as a school, are certainly extremely proud! ππ₯
Our Y4 football fanatics recently took part in the final SHS Y3/4 football event of the school year. There were some fabulous goals scored as we came away with two victories, one draw and a defeat. Iβm certainly excited to see how successful this team can be in Y5 and Y6. β½οΈ
An amazing 4th place finish for these girls in their East Riding football league! I cannot be more proud of the way the girls have progressed as footballers this year, but also as people. They are a pleasure to watch on the football pitch and a joy to be around off the pitch. π
Huge congratulations to our Y5 Boys' football team who represented our school in the East Riding football league FINALS! They did themselves proud against some extremely talented footballers. A 5th place finish overall and an amazing achievement to be very proud of! πβ½οΈ
Well done to our Brough 'A' netball team who finished their season on a very positive note. Firstly, they battled bravely in a heart-breaking 6-5 loss to Kirk Ella, but then got a well-earned victory in their final game - 9-5 versus North Ferriby. A fabulous effort, girls! π
