🐝💨🍯This week at bee club, the pupils learnt how to light a smoker and that the bees know this is a sign that someone is coming in the hive to have a look. It's like knocking on the front door before you go into someone's house! @AdAstraTrust

🤩 Yusuf and Vinnie received a RESPECT rosette from one of our @AdAstraTrust academy’s School Improvement Leads. Both boys were in @mr_p_wiley’s group, and he explained that they not only congratulated each other, but constantly motivated the Y6 boys from other schools too!

📚🤩These pupils won the monthly draw for golden tickets in May through their outstanding home reading efforts! Each received a special certificate and a book to keep as a reward for their dedication.

Our school has been fundraising money for the Hartlepool Hospice and we raised £472.44. Amber, our head girl, and Bogdan, our head boy, went to EDF Power Station to collect the Gold Bright Sparks Award our school earned for the second highest amount of money!

At Bee Club 🐝, the children had their first chance to see inside a hive. We talked about the different parts and then looked at the frames. The children were fascinated! 😍
