Two legendary bisexual directors were BOTD: the great French auteur Jacques Demy in 1931 and the great English auteur Tony Richardson in 1928. Both men died from complications from AIDS, Demy in 1990 at the age of 59, Richardson in 1991 at the age of 63. Both had messy marriages!
