#Varanasi is reportedly heading towards a massive βΉ1200β1400 crore budget, but the OTT market isn't what it was when the project was planned. With digital rights valuations said to have dropped sharply, recovery is becoming a real challenge.
Maybe that's also why the Antarctica schedule got scrapped..... Cutting expensive shoots while preserving scale could be the need of the hour.
The biggest challenge for mega budget films today isn't making them, it's recovering the investment.
