I keep seeing this question in various places so, to clarify:
Only a hero that particpated in the previous SAGE season is eligble to be benched come voting time.
E.g., when we go to vote before the release of Set 19, Chane cannot be voted for. He'll be back (with card bans).
The “sitting out multiple seasons in a row” outcome occurs the second (or 3rd, 4th, etc.) time the hero is benched. They then sit out a number of seasons = to times they’ve been benched. E.g. if Chane is voted out before set 20 release, he’ll sit out 2 seasons.
Unique stat from RTN Week 1 that I don't recall ever seeing before:
The top 5 most played decks were Marionette, Gravy, Verdance, Kayo, Kassai. Only one of these decks is in the top 5 for conversion rate, and its in 5th place.
Agree! All our Road to Nationals are selling out and it has to do with the new system. Killing Elo and having XPs qualify to Nationals was a huge win. Congratz @fabtcg for another great Organized Play move! (Now pls let's bring back Sealed Callings & Draft at the PT pls) #fabtcg
Much of what we do is shaped around our most enfranchised players, but not everything can be. We polled on this change in recent surveying because we needed to be 100% sure it was having intended effect. It was OVERWHELMINGLY popular, and produced our most attended season ever.
Running two unique live stream setups has proven to be a massive burden on the production team, so we had to prioritize tournament coverage. HQ YouTube keynote recording will be up soon after conclusion, and I bet our fav content creators will be streaming if you just can’t wait!

What qualifies as premier level events? If we’re talking Tier 4 events, this change does the opposite of ELO and incentivizes playing as much as possible!I’d assume Blitz and SAGE armories should become quite popular now. Interesting change, def. good for players in larger cities
In yet another case of Arakni-related “no one is going to believe this, but I’ll share it anyway,” I did not make this card—but I’d like to think I mentally battered James into its creation with the giant Huntsman in my office that he has to walk by every day

Will get final confirmation shortly, so please don’t treat this as 100% official yet… but in the interest of expediency, I’ll say it looks like Azalea has won BH: Bucharest. #fabtcg
As someone who loves obsessing over results and metas, I just gotta give it up to the players. This has been the most fascinating Nationals season to follow, and the list of winners this week is WILD. Only a couple of weeks until we find out what it all means for PT Singapore!
Really encourage folks to push for proof of something I supposedly said before relying on the hearsay version. The amount of statements I see accredited to me that are either misinterpreted or just flat out not something I’ve ever commented on have both been way too high lately.
Mortdog is stepping away from posting and streaming saying the haters won
People were annoyed saying you had to get info from his stream or posts -- well now we don't get any of that. We get less communication, info, and interaction with the devs.
