⏰ 💲 The Japanese universal health insurance system introduced a financial incentive for ICU patients if rehabilitation is started within 48 hours of the admission. 🏥 This study showed that introducing the fee promoted early rehabilitation of ICU patients, but there was no statistically significant change in the mean length of ICU or hospital stay. bit.ly/3BSWBPf
