It's all to benefit them. The IMF is running a business, and as long as Nigeria keeps borrowing, they can dictate how our economy functions.
So they (IMF) just want us to borrow more, leaving the future generations further tangled in unaccounted loans.
I don't understand paying taxes that have no effect on the life of the citizens.

But how do junior devs get the experience needed to start making these vital decisions when AI is removing the entry rung from the career ladder?
AI can build websites.
AI can build apps.
AI can write code faster than you.
AI can even build software you donβt fully understand as a developer.

Back to working on my Relay chat app. I've gone back to improve the validation of the sign up controller to ensure thorough checks before adding a user to the database.
Just taking a break right now, it's gonna be a long night π₯±

Despite that, I still managed to work on the sign up controller, incorporate password hashing using bcryptjs, and generate JWT for valid new users.

Great, now tell him he needs to attend secondary school for another 6yrs.
Nice, now tell him he needs to go to university for 4yrs before he can actually get a good job, then make sure the school go on strike so he completes another 6yrs
Great, now tell him he need an NYSC certificate so he need to go for camp
Awesome, now tell him he actually need connections to get a job in any top governmental organization.
Okayyyy, now tell him he actually needs to learn a digital skills, hype software engineering so he can pick that.
Great now ask Claude to take his job.

About to go to bed now. I spent all day getting prepared for an upcoming exam and working on my Relay chat app (no time for React tutorials today π).
It's been over two years since I last used MongoDB, so I'm a bit rusty π₯². Nonetheless, we keep building.

I'm trying my best to juggle school and programming. But now the exams have been compressed into one week rather than the usual three.

Setting things up to start coding Relay: a real-time chat application as my internship project.
This is the first time I'll be working with websockets, so I'll be following a tutorial, though I'll also be doing my own thing most of the time.

Day 26 of learning React from scratch.
Today I moved from managing complex states like arrays to objects.
Unlike arrays that can be easily updated by spreading, for objects I had to spread the properties then override the one I wanted to change.
So, an important lesson learnt
