Impressive sub sec query with live-kit bolt on.
Today we're launching Founding Agent. For 25 years, a website's answer to "I have a question" has been a search box and a contact form that goes nowhere. So visitors leave - and you never know they were there. Founding Agent is a voice AI agent that lives on your site and actually talks to people. It answers their real questions instantly, qualifies who's a fit, and books the meeting while they still care. It feels like a real conversation because retrieval runs in under 10ms. No lag, no "thinking" dots. It's built on the same infra 1500 developers are already using at @usemoss Websites have been one-way mirrors for too long. Time they answered back. Early access 👇

I turned off my AI's memory for a single day and it became genuinely fucking stupid… hallucinated 10x more. somehow it made up file paths & started using tools I told it not to use and was using approaches I tried that we abandoned months ago. Same model. Same parameters. Same "intelligence." Just no memory of me. That's when I realized we've all been gaslit into thinking the model is the bottleneck. it's not. your AI isn't dumb. it just has no idea who you are and every time you close the tab, it forgets you even exist. We're spending billions making a genius smarter instead of giving it the ability to remember your fucking name.

time to see what would happen if you took an effective memory layer and gave a complex task to a long running local agent. how much time would they actually save? both on a temporal basis and on token utilization.
The "S" in "Local AI" stands for Savings

No matter the sacrifice. Just build something great.

claude for personal conversations/ advice has gotten way too censored. it’s kind of concerning. @grok is just soooo much better.

Hackathon survival rule #1: don’t sleep through demo day. Lasted 36 hours just to miss his shot.

It’s crazy to see the love we’re getting already!
everyone’s busy reinventing memory systems when a cursed SQLite setup with good retrieval layers lowkey does the job 😭 came across a setup that stores context locally with SQLite a few layers around retrieval/reranking, stress tested it locally and ngl it worked way better than expected instead of paying for tools like mem0 or Supermemory, you can get pretty far with something lightweight, local, and cheap to run

it’s pretty hard to beat pulling an all nighter and just building shit

first time normally founders prioritize profit. but the next time around it’s all about ultimate truth… the rabbit hole is deep
