I grew up evangelical then worked in immigration for a bit after college , the program I did was founded and funded by nuns. They also set up a home for LGBTQ youth kicked out by their families .I was taught WWJD, but they showed me WWJD, not the Republican Party.

I will add. I identify as agnostic now, they were aware - they never once tried to convert me. I felt welcome. One actually told me I’d make a good Buddhist .

I know this is might offend people to ask BUT what are the chances there is a deep dish pizza in Chicago that’s lactose free ? Or vegan cheese? … my dairy sensitivity has been getting worse and resulting in hives more often & in in denial. I got welts form a tortellini 🥲

I really want a deep dish pizza from Chicago and might just eat it and have all my antihistamines right after but that’s not ideal 😅

NYC traffic is so wild that it takes me 2 hours to visit my friend in Chelsea that’s 77 miles from me but only 3.5 hours to visit my friend outside of Boston that’s 217 miles from me. 😅

Loved my accountability session with @BuildwithJoy today! It takes a neuro-spicy friend to know one, especially as entrepreneurs! It's so cool we've found ways to apply diff coaching practices on each other & ourselves finally, because that's often the hardest part! It's go time!

HELP #allergyTwitter #mcas . I have a #histamineintolerance rinsed all my fruits & veggies in vinegar to get rid of potential allergens… and didn’t realize vinegar is a no no so now I broke out / lips swelling eating strawberries …. What else can I wash them with ?! 🥲

I kind of miss working in ad ops tbh 😅 I might actually start looking at jobs again but is there a place that is socially conscious and ethical ? Is that even possible? That was the main reason I left tbh

Going back to Latam as a brown skinned curly haired mestizo is very odd … cause you’re privileged but also confusing to others cause you’re not Spanish and not Mayan or African but clearly mixed … basically I’m the result of a social experiment resulting in ethnic ambiguity
