Hi all Solving things in both job and real life. Both are going quite well but both matter more at the moment. I could be compounding the last days of buildInPublic community, though, solving my reality first. Back real soon.

Challenge failed. No Claude this weekend. Real life took over. Job was heavy. That's fine. Some weeks build. Some weeks recover. Learning which is which matters too.

Day 6/8. Resting after a tough week. Weekend build starts tomorrow. One rule that doesn't change: quality over deadline. I'll fail the challenge before I ship something I wouldn't accept. PS — I built this challenge around my girlfriend being away. Turns out I am way more productive when she's around. 😅

Day 5 of 8. Full office day. Posting for consistency and transparency, not progress. Most of this challenge gets built this weekend. Not giving up in this tough context!

Day 4/8 challenge. Heavy office day again. Low progress on the project. But... I helped someone on my team through a rough moment. Showed great 'people' management skills for the best of both him and the company... Proud of that more than any file shipped today. Weekend is for building. Still on track. Ps: I feel you @terencebuilds - I was flying over my day job in the first 20 days on X, now I see the tougher side of it! Still showing up daily, transparent and authentic! 🤝🚀

Day 4/8. Office day. Yesterday's exchange with @ku_ds17868 — that's exactly why I build in public. I learned and got huge boost of motivation.🚀 Today's goal: build the file builder that gets reused for everything that ships.

Day 3 of 8. No progress on the challenge today. Knew one or two days like this would happen during workweeks. Had a 1:30 real exchange about the long-term project. That's the real progress. Still on time.

Day 3/8. Challenge on... Though heavy situation to manage in my day job today. Someone not delivering. Not caring much either. Builders, managers, founders, how do you handle that?

📌Recap for today: - Started bit rough with the stripe-cli incident - Which had a good thing though, found a bug in the server not clearing the write_buffer when dealing with https/http & reusing connections - Went through the buying flow again made sure to use the existing stripe_customer_id if existing - Invoice/purchase history now shows already real stripe dummy data -- link for opening also working (the big red arrow in the picture) Tldr: quite productive with lot of thinking. Get pretty complicated when you want to make the buying experience as smooth as possible.

Day 2/8 Three simple files. Each one does one thing. Together they produce something neither could alone. That's not the product though. The product is the loop they create. Copy and paste in your LLM, that's it!

Five days ago: no competition found. Two days ago: yes, there is. Stressed for 48 hours. Now proud it happened. Gives me direction, urgency, and knowledge. They can't follow me into my market anyway. Still, they helped me stop overthinking the right direction.

Built a X reply system more clever than me. Doesn't sound like AI. Didn't touch it in ten days. Turns out genuine interaction isn't something you automate.

No install. No login. Just a file. That's not a limitation — that's the point. Would you download an MD file that can run on any LLM or prefer a full web tool?

One week of AI sessions. How many times did you re-explain the same project from scratch?

Pfiouuu - was more a 7 to 5 today. Tired, but challenges are done to push it. Food prep - cold shower and going back to the grind 🚀

8 days challenge: No website needed. GitHub does it. Still not writing a single line of code for this project. Honestly a bit disappointed about that. No excuse not to ship on time.

Day 2/8. At the office. Building free functions for LLM builders. The real challenge is the delivery, not the build. This will be a really busy week at work. 8 days to know the answer.
