Hello Cyprian. Kindly hide my identity. I am a first-year student at Bomet University, pursuing Mathematics and Geography. We are deeply perturbed by a lecturer in our department who runs his lectures like his own private business, threatening students and refusing to provide notes or write on the whiteboard, instead directing us to his cybercafé to access materials at a cost of Ksh 300. Unlike other lecturers who share notes through class representatives, he even brings his business associate into the lecture room to promote his contact. This is very uncalled for, as many of us struggle to afford even Ksh 10 for basic needs, yet he appears to be taking advantage of his authority. We urgently request that the university administration addresses this matter.
