Helped out our younger Bulls team this past weekend in Gardendale. Pitched a total of 6.2 innings in 4 games, allowing 4 earned runs with 8 strikeouts and an opponent batting avg of .206. I got to play some outfield, shortstop, and first base as well! I also used this opportunity to work on my batting. Overcoming some mental barriers and starting to put the ball in play! I ended with a .500 avg with 2 hits and a sac bunt and only 1 strikeout in 5 plate appearances. Freshman season ended with my team coming in as Runner Up in our first ever state tournament!!! So proud to be a part of a team with this much heart and fire! From battling out of the losers bracket to earn the Qualifier 2 for state, to battling through the losers bracket to play for the championship! My stats for the state tournament: 7IP, 5Ks 5BBs, 7runs (2 earned for a 2.000 ERA), and 1.857 WHIP. All in all my freshman season was one for the books! 2A State Runner Up with my girls! Pretty happy with my stats for the season as well! Solid defensive numbers and surpassing last years strikeout total in the circle! Plenty of room for improvement still to lower free passes and ERA, but I ended with the lowest BAA on the team! Proud of my team for punching our ticket to State for the first time and having a record breaking season! I capitalized on my opportunities, throwing 4 pitches in my relief appearance to get us out of the last inning of game 1 as well as hitting an RBI single in game 2 and later scoring the winning run! Day 2 I stayed ready in the bullpen and also made sure the dugout stayed up and loud for all three games. Area Tournament 2026 2A Area 15 Runner Up Pitched in the winners bracket semi-final against Pisgah, probably the best hitting team I’ve faced all season. Went 2.1 innings with one strikeout and 6 runs. Not my best day. Came in relief on day 2 against Section with 4 innings, 3 strikeouts, and only 1 run to help put us back in the championship game! Struggled to dial in Friday pitching but had a beautiful diving catch in center field! Came back on Saturday and put in work! Kept runners to a minimum and left them stranded with only 1 run allowed in 5 innings of work. JV Team got a 15-0 win over Section tonight! I got the start in the circle and got 6 strikeouts in 2 innings. Played SS an inning as well, catching a high fly ball for the first out of the inning.
