NIH resources like BLAST are fundamental to so many researchers. Sadly, these might have been affected by the recent governmental overhaul.

My response to a recent article in the @nypost that criticized our lab's research on neonicotinoid insecticides. The intent of the article was to spread disinformation, fool the public, and influence policymakers. Please don't be fooled, folks.
Not to be a crankypuss, but awarding a Nobel for work that suffered from not being taken seriously for decades only *after* it proved to be of incredible value is not a triumph of prizemaking - it's a complete condemnation of it and the entire culture of modern academic science.
