What makes no sense about BCS 25/26 is that in the venues that don't have Premium, there is NO main event to join as a Vanguard player on Day 2. If you're gonna get rid of Premium at these venues, why not make Standard 2 days? Why not do the Buddyfight x Vanguard collab cups that JP is doing? We are travelling back 10 YEARS in time to 2016 when Vanguard only had 1 format, and if you didn't play Buddyfight or Weiss (or Dragoborne) for Day 2, you went home. Does retaining Vanguard players at these venues for the whole weekend not mean anything? Or do they have that much confidence in the "side events" prizing that it'll make people book that hotel for day 2?
