This #WildlifeWednesday we're focusing on Cape buffalo 🐂 Cape buffaloes are social, moving in large breeding herds and smaller bachelor herds. 🐂Cape buffaloes have a bush named after them - the buffalo thorn. 🐂Breeding herds are lead by a female known as a "pathfinder."

It's #WildlifeWednesday we're looking at the southern ground hornbill. 🐦They are the largest species of hornbill we find in the Lowveld. 🐦They are a monogamous species meaning they form male-female pair bonds for life. 🐦Southern ground hornbills can live for up to 60 years!
