May I say the biggest issue with Spike vs the fandom feud is a complete misunderstanding of his character?
He's an obvious "agent of chaos" type character without clear motives or goals. He can both stalk from the distance and join the mayhem out of curiosity. #BrawlStars 🧵

Wildcard that you can expect anything from. The only difference is how invested he is. That's why he's described as "always being in his head" July 2025 QnA. And since he's always one step away from destroying the whole park, everyone keeps playing along with him

Brawl Stars players don't know what a mascot character are supposed to be. I think a very recognisable brawler to outsiders for marketing purposes doesn't even require extreme depth of a character. By that logic Creeper from Minecraft doesn't deserve to be one

It's insane how big of mistake buffies are. If the trade off for likely broken buffies is my favourite brawler being butchered beyond recognition, I would keep my mains without Buffies for longer

Hot take but with all respect Polyrabids feels better than Berry×Pierce. It's way rare of a chance to have a poly ship in a media, and we have way more proper dynamic with dinosaurs rather than Berry and Pierce

Not many mention how Edgar slowly stopped being a punching bag for Supercell. Idk when it started (somewhere during Brawl Arena release), but he feels way more endearing

May I say that I'm kinda disappointed with Starr Patrol event? Same thing was Katana Kindom were most of the cool stuff happens at the end. Next time Supercell should stretch out content better

My hot take is that people Spike is a good mascot despite being overused. If you think that you need a complex personality to be a mascot, then Minecraft wouldn't use Creeper at all
