They’re content with where they’re at, but would like to add depth if the opportunity falls to them and makes sense for the value

Sad to see Emil Andrae go, but happy he will get another chance to play for another team. Great, hard-working kid who was always fun to cover. I know he will appreciate this new opportunity
Emil Andrae always played like he took half a jar of preworkout before the game whenever the Flyers called him up. Was always super involved & followed the puck like crazy. Then he would get sent down or scratched for a month.

There are teams right now convincing themselves that they shouldn't draft defencemen like Shayne Gostisbehere and Sean Walker just because they're undersized.
Both players just won the Stanley Cup.
and honestly they're prob right bc the canes got them for really cheap

The funny thing about watching the Hurricanes is every year I see them in the playoffs and I'm like "how do you beat these guys?" but then they, without fail, never win when it matters

Correction: Frederik Andersen said he tweaked his knee back in Game 2 and that’s what took him out of the series. Tried to work through it in Game 3, was pulled and then didn’t play the rest of the series.
