The California State Senate adopted Senate Resolution 88 today, recognizing 50 years of modern biotechnology and the 20 years of the California Biotechnology Foundation. California is the birthplace of modern biotech and life science is now the state's second largest industry, supporting 1M jobs and hundreds of billions in economic activity.
