Proud to celebrate this milestone 🎉 Thank you to @SenBlakespear and the Legislature for recognizing 20 years of CBF and 50 years of California biotech powering innovation, jobs, and life-changing breakthroughs across California.
The California State Senate adopted Senate Resolution 88 today, recognizing 50 years of modern biotechnology and the 20 years of the California Biotechnology Foundation.
California is the birthplace of modern biotech and life science is now the state's second largest industry, supporting 1M jobs and hundreds of billions in economic activity.
Thank you to @SenBlakespear and the Legislature for recognizing the scientists and innovators improving lives here and around the world.
