Needless to stay... we are not happy with this tepid reform. There are no positives to the prison industrial complex. Members of the CU community should be disappointed with the lack of moral leadership on this issue.
This follows calls for the university system to sever ties with the Colorado Department of Corrections. A working group found problems with CCI, but also found positives to program and thinks CU can encourage change as a buyer

The treatment of people detained at Otay Mesa is horrific. Shutting them in with COVID19 to die. Refusing masks unless they sign hold harmless contracts, untranslated. Attacking them with pepper spray for making masks. #FreeThemAll @gavinnenwsome
