Humanities Christmas Countdown Day 17! Christmas is close; in many countries (such as Greenland, Poland and the Philippines) the main Christmas festivities take place on the 24th, whilst in others (such as the UK and France) it is the 25th 🎄 Merry Christmas for when it comes! ✨

Day 4 of the Humanities Faculty Christmas Countdown! Today, Mrs Macleod has shared that the first documented Christmas tree was in France in 1539 but the tradition of decorating trees is believed to have begun in Germany 🎄early trees were decorated with candles, fruit and nuts.
