Thank you to N.C. Cooperative Extension for hosting our @ncstatecals Community Forum at the 2025 State Extension Conference. It was the largest community forum ever, with approximately 1,000 people in attendance in person and online.

I challenged @NCStateCALS to find me not wearing red, and if they did, then I would buy them lunch. Well, a Zoom call from Asheville, N.C. this summer ended my streak. I paid up with lunch with this outstanding group of leaders (unfortunately missing three due to scheduling).

I had a great time meeting students at the CALS Connection event yesterday. @NCStateCALS’ student orgs, academic programs and embedded counselor were present to connect with students.
One of my favorite parts? Free Howling Cow ice cream (and most notably, Tuffy’s Toffee).
