Our founding director, Emeritus Professor Antonia Bifulco, has retired after a long and successful career dedicated to understanding and alleviating the impacts of abuse and trauma. From founding CATS in 2008, through pioneering the Lifespan Research Group, and developing tools like the CECA interview for childhood abuse assessment📑, Prof. Bifulco’s contributions have shaped the field and improved countless lives through improving professional practice. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to her for leading CATS with passion, academic rigour, dedication, kindness, and vision. ❤️ Building on this strong foundation, we’re excited to re-launch CATS, with world-leading experts🌐 of their respective fields as co-directors.
