In 2023, The Foundation for Learning and Literacy will convene a symposium featuring organisations whose primary work is with children and young people, literacy and drama.
The 2023 Literature Symposium will involve a series of free online presentations from a range of organisations, including CBCA. Once a month, the presentations will be released on the YouTube Channel.

The applications for the 2023 – 2025 Book of the Year Judge are now open.
We would love to encourage members to submit their applications to be considered for the next term 2023-25. We are looking for 15 new judges.
Every two years, The Children’s Book Council of Australia appoints individuals with outstanding experience and knowledge within the children’s literary field. Judging panels are formed through application with merit-based processes applied.
Shadow Judging is on again in 2023!
Get in early and register your interest for 2023.
Go to cbca.org.au/ and under the Shadow Judging link, register your group or school. An email will be sent to you when registrations open in February 2023.
