My scary classroom social experiment demonstrating how tyrannies arise from democracies: I gave a bunch of extra credit tickets to the first few students to arrive in class, then everyone else received 1-2 tickets. The kids that came into class last were outraged by the “injustice” of those that came first getting a greater reward. There were no rules or directions for this day in class. I just told them I’d act as an enforcer of whatever they decided to do in the 47 minutes. The girl circled in red- Emily- was a genius. She used her charisma and charm to court the majority of her peers that had less coupons, and played off their resentment of the minority that had earned more tickets for arriving to class early. In the allotted time she convinced her peers that if they voted to give her absolute power, she would confiscate the 40 coupons held by the minority and distribute them equally. The minority of students were frustrated, but powerless against the majority vote. Emily was elected to a “supreme ruler” position, and as promised she confiscated all of the tickets from the minority of students that arrived to class first. That’s when things got interesting. She kept the vast majority of tickets for herself, and distributed a few to some of her friends. It was a microcosm of what has happened historically time and time again, and the danger our republic faces. I asked the students to write a reflection on how they now viewed unrestrained majority-rules democracy, and their opinions has definitely changed from the day prior.

6 years ago you guys were calling him a racist and tearing down his statues.
I I’ll never forgive people who voted for Trump. This is on them. The Lincoln Memorial is hallowed ground. Where our greatest president, who gave his life to end slavery, is commentated. Where the Gettysburg Address is written. We live as graffiti now.

Everyone call him a Nazi to make a point.
I’m a white male. I’ve never been called a Nazi. If you’re constantly being called a Nazi, it’s because you are one.

What a terrible time to have ears.
I know this is not easy to pull off, but it would be amazing if people chanted, “Free, Free Palestine” wherever people gathered. Especially sporting events, like the World Cup! It would send such a powerful message to our governments that the people of the world support freedom!

This reminds me of when some of my Black students told me police were constantly murdering Black people. I asked a simple question: “How many unarmed Black people do you think police kill each year?” The answers ranged from hundreds to thousands. PER DAY. When I told them the number was less than 20 annually, and that most of those cases involved suspects attacking police with some type of object, they didn’t reconsider. Instead, they told me the real number was much higher because police were secretly burying the bodies and covering it up. That’s what ideological indoctrination does. Once someone has been taught to believe America is engaged in a hidden campaign of mass murder, every piece of contradictory evidence becomes proof of the conspiracy. You can’t have a rational conversation about individual cases when people have been trained to view reality through an apocalyptic narrative. People who believe there are secret mass graves full of police murder victims are not starting from a place of evidence. They’re starting from a conspiracy theory. x.com/libsoftiktok/status/20…

That she says “Free Palestine” tells you everything. The Free Palestine movement has nothing to do with any alleged “genocide”. It’s simply an anti-Western movement.

Ma’am I want to introduce you to my friend @PerryALPHA. He is 100% alpha and is entirely about MAGA (Make Anal Great Again).
Anal sex is great if you like playing in the sewer, wearing diapers, and getting diseases from it.

This disloyal grifter would have been doing this little peep show in a prison shower had Trump not pardoned him.
Checking all my hate mail after cooking MAGA so bad in that debate the entire cult is "REEEE" at me all day.

One of my dangerous realizations from Charlie Kirk's assassination is that assassinations work The left mocks the "great man" theory but it is basically true. If you kill a uniquely powerful or effective person, you can decapitate a movement Ken wants his opponents decapitated. He is eager for someone to "misunderstand" his words and take inspiration from his desires and shed blood. There isn't really a good solution to this outside of stripping him of his license to practice law for this encouragement of murder. But most of his colleagues agree with him because every institution is hopelessly corrupt.
The Popehat trajectory has been something to watch

Just how much money was Tucker Carlson born into? More than you can imagine. There's a reason feudalism is Tucker's preferred system of government.

The GOP is gatekeeping? Good. That’s what serious political parties are supposed to do. The Democrats failed to do that and ended up having their ship commandeered by batshit insane communist transvestite clowns.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis slammed the Florida GOP after the Sunshine State Showdown revoked gubernatorial candidate James Fishback’s debate invitation and announced that only Byron Donalds had qualified. DeSantis argued that, under similar standards, he would not have qualified for debates during his 2018 gubernatorial run, saying the party should not engineer outcomes or control the process from the top down.
