View the latest edition of the Information Network Bulletin brought to you by Croydon Council’s Trading Standards team. It includes details of some of the latest scams and fraud alerts which we have become aware of in recent months. croydon.gov.uk/sites/default…

We have recently been made aware of a woman in a waitrose car park distracted by one man through her window whilst another got in her car the other side and was looking through her handbag, thankfully the alarm was raised and they ran off empty handed. Keep your doors locked!
Say no to ASB. Over the next few weeks, please be mindful of other residents , we all like to have a party and a good time but be considerate of your neighbors, loud music should stop by 11pm. Anti-Social Behaviour affects everyone.

Know how to identify your phone if it's stolen. Find your IMEI number by dialling *#06# from your phone and keep a written note of it. If the phone is stolen, report it to the police and your mobile provider to stop it being used. #BeSafe

Look into whether something is true and from a reputable source, before passing it on. There’s a lot of misinformation, fake news and ungrounded rumour about people on the internet, some of which has serious consequences when spread #onlinerespect getsafeonline.org/respect
