He/Him. Multimedia journalist back with the Cape Breton Post. Formerly with Brunswick News, Postmedia Editorial Services, Toronto Star, CP, Toronto/Ottawa Suns.
As a Canadian kid growing up with basic cable, Wok With Yan was my first real introduction to a cooking show. I was immediately hooked on the concept, bewildering ingredients I’d never heard of and of course Stephen’s pun riddled apron game.🇨🇦
Anyone from the CBRM area know what this building on the water is/was supposed to be? Noticed this at the end of walking trail of sorts near Sydney, N.S. #middlelake#nearmiraroad#explorecapebreton
In 2008, I wrote about an up-and-coming country sensation named Taylor Swift for the now-defunct publication Metro Toronto. Sixteen years later, what a transformation. For anyone attending one of her Toronto shows, enjoy!!!
Some personal news: @CBPost_Ian is back.
As of early next week, I officially will be back on duty at my full-time Multimedia Journalist role with the Cape Breton Post — albeit in a work-from-home capacity.
I echo @CBPost_Jeremy's sentiments regarding @PostDyment. He gave his all for the time he spent with the Cape Breton Post. You will be greatly missed — not just for your stellar reporting but also for all the laughs you gave to your journalist colleagues. Best of luck, sir.
The official office -30- … for real. Thanks for a good 3 1/2-year run, Cape Breton Post.
Who knows what will be the next move right now? Ideas certainly welcome.
Peace out,
The former @CBPost_Ian
Some personal news:
CBPost_Ian is -30- due to a change in ownership and some staff layoffs (including me).
The person himself is OK (survived a good 3 1/2 years) but now seeking work.
Any leads available, locally or remotely, please let me know.
Rebranding as CBIsle_Ian.
