Today, we take time to remember the 15th anniversary of the end to "As the World Turns." For 54 years, and over 13,000 episodes, the Irna Phillips created soap opera brought us stories of love, betrayal, heartbreak, and unforgettable Friday cliffhangers. Though the closing credits rolled one last time all those years ago, the memories of this one-of-a-kind series have continued to live on in our hearts.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of the legendary Eileen Fulton, who died on July 14 at the age of 91. Best known for her iconic role as Lisa on As the World Turns, Eileen redefined daytime television with a fierce, groundbreaking portrayal that captivated audiences for decades, including her portrayal of the same character in her very own spin-off series. Her influence stretched far beyond the soap opera world, as well. She was a gifted actress, singer, author, and trailblazer who brought complexity and glamour to every role she touched. Eileen’s legacy will forever be etched into the fabric of television history. Rest in Peace, Queen of Daytime.
