Save-the-date family! We are hosting a fundraising event that features the personal works our “Building Me” participants. They are putting their talents and self-reflections out there to their community. Be there and let them know that you are “their community”.
What’s scarier than 👻🧙&💀? Mayor Adams’ dangerous move to change NYC's constitution to grab more power for himself & his interests - at the expense of everyday NYers.
Spooky, right? Don't be fooled by his misleading ballot language. Vote NO on Props 2-6. #Nix2through6
“Democracy is on the ballot next week from the top to the bottom, we have to use our voice to make it clear we want representation, we want balance in gov’t, we want checks and balances.”
Susan Lerner w/ @commoncause NY joins us at City Hall to calls on voters to #Nix2Through6!
It’s been 5 yrs since the NYPD murdered #AllanFeliz. His family has fought tirelessly to get @NYCMayor & @NYPDPC to #FireJonathanRivera for killing him, but with Adams' corruption, they fear justice won’t be served. Come to Gracie Mansion on 10/17 to stand with the Feliz family!
This is it. We only have TWO DAYS to stop Missouri from executing #MarcellusWilliams, an innocent man.
Though @GovParsonMO's office is closed today, we can’t let a single moment go by where we’re not urging him to take action. Email, tweet, and contact his office now: bit.ly/3MT0OVh
CCFY hosted our first Summer "Bingo Night" Thursday evening, as a nice way to wrap up a golden summer with local community members and CCFY families ! Big ups to our staff and youth participants who worked together to make it happen. #communityevents#NYC#bingonight
CCFY hosted our 13th Annual Back to School event in collaboration with Padre Plaza on August 15th, 2024. This year, we are especially proud of the committee of youth leaders that coordinated this event throughout the summer with the guidance of our SBCC staff!
Small things can have a big effect and we are all busy in NYC trying to tell them. Investing in one young person has echoing effects into the home, out into the community, and society as a whole. It’s the butterfly effect of community support. @cc4yinstagram.com/reel/C9Kk-zZO6…
