Due to #ElNiño and high fertilizer prices, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda & Zambia face a total maize deficit of 2.5mln Mt.
@Agriinteligence says Tanzania has an estimated excess 🌽 supply of 4mln Mt which could cover this deficit.
More regional trade is needed.
