Excited to see new golf course features taking place. Drainage is being installed in the new 14th green and bunkers are roughed in. The new 15th tee complex is being constructed and the corridor is taking shape beyond. Hope to have grass on the ground by the end of June!

Another aerification in the books! Hopefully summer 2023 is officially over after tomorrow with cooler weather and beneficial rainfall this weekend. Pleased with how well the greens handled the @JRMTurfProducts 3/4” tines.
5.5” of rain over the past two days. Definitely needed rain but Mother Nature went a little overboard 🤦♂️. Course is open but there are some new water features on 7 fairway and 11 tee. Hopefully we dodge the ⛈️ forecasted on Sunday. #flooded

Kicked off 2023 with greens verticut (2x) and aeration the past two days. The team did a fantastic job and got it done before the forecasted rain (of course it’s now changed). Spring like temps and sunshine was a welcomed change compared to all the rain we’ve had this winter!
This week’s featured menu item comes to us from Baja California: a Pan Roasted Baja Kampachi! Baja Kampachi is a cross between Cod and Yellowfin Tuna and is firm, rich and buttery!
It will be served with Chardonnay Braised Spinach & Kale, with Pearled Garlic Red Potato Confit!

The Halibut sits on a bed of Israeli Cous Cous with Asparagus & Brown Beach Mushrooms, Creamy Saffron Dill Broth, and topped with a Coriander Lemon Crème!
This week we’re bringing back a longtime favorite from right off our coastline: a Crispy North Carolina Flounder!
Golden Fried in Cornflake Crumbs, with a Lemon Caper Hollandaise, and served over Southern Stewed Lima Bean and Sharp Cheddar Grits.

Re-sodded our 11th fairway two weeks ago with @Tahoma31Bermuda and it was rooted in <5 days and mowed for the first time at 6 days. At two weeks old it looks like it’s been there forever. Still amazed at how awesome this grass is every time we use it! #Amazed#BestBermudaEver

Round 1 of fairway verticutting is finished on the front 9. Round 2 begins Monday on the back 9. 2 directions at 9/16” depth and the amount of material removed was mind-blowing but needed since fairways have never been verticut! Big s/o to @1stproducts VC60!!! #RippingItOut
