If you are receiving the new sign-in loop error w/ Infinite on Steam, a new workaround I discovered:
- Sign into microsoft.com
- View account > security > manage how I sign in
- Add a secondary email to receive sign-on codes
- Launch game in steam, enter ms account email
- Choose send a code to the secondary email
- Confirm the email address
- Get code
- Use code
- Play
I don't know why password auth causes the sign in loop, but that seems to be the culprit here. This also works if you use text codes or the authenticator app.
