Through this project, we aim to bridge these gaps by creating inclusive learning opportunities, strengthening digital resilience, and empowering participants with the tools needed to navigate today's complex information environment.

For too long, persons with disabilities have faced barriers to accessing digital skills, online safety resources, and meaningful participation in information integrity initiatives.

This new phase places a strong focus on disability inclusion in digital spaces,ensuring that persons with disabilities are not left behind in efforts to promote digital safety, cybersecurity, fact-checking, and the fight against information manipulation.

Last week, we hosted a dynamic training and mentorship session at our Kendu Bay office, bringing together young people to explore emerging opportunities within sustainable agriculture and circular economy systems. π±β»οΈ

What stood out throughout the session was the level of engagement from the young people in attendance ;from conversations around climate-smart agriculture and entrepreneurship to reflections on the future of food systems, green jobs, and community resilience.

Participants engaged in practical discussions on how locally available organic waste can be repurposed into high-value products such as protein-rich animal feed and organic manure, creating pathways for both environmental sustainability and youth-led enterprise development.

The session focused on the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) value chain;an increasingly important innovation in organic waste management, sustainable feed production, and regenerative farming practices.

The question is not whether issue-based politics is possible.
The question is whether we are willing to practice it.
Because when politics begins to focus on real problems, it stops being about noise and starts producing real solutions.

The session emphasized practical steps that can be taken consistently: keeping conversations focused on issues rather than personalities, asking clear and direct questions in public forums, tracking whether promises translate into action, and creating spaces for open dialogue.

The reality, however,is not simple;
Political identity is deeply tied to history and belonging.
Economic pressure is real and for many,immediate needs take priority over longterm governance questions. Information is also uneven,making it harder to separate facts from narratives.
