A strike of any kind is unnecessary. CEC has offered mediation-interest arbitration, a process that the Union has recognized as a common way to resolve the issues.

Ontario Public Colleges are entering an era of fiscal instability. The CEC has asked the @CAATfaculty bargaining team to consider recent news and cuts to the College sector. Their proposals currently amount to more than $1 billion annually in changes. International student changes will have long-term effects that are currently estimated to lead to more than a $3 billion loss.
