We studied 18,339 MH patient suicides in UK over 11yrs. 1,667 deaths/yr. For prevention:
Living alone, self-harm, alcohol & drug misuse were common.
Highest risk was soon after discharge from inpatient care (14%).
23% missed their last contact, a marker of disengagement.
