Elijah Just with two lovely goals for New Zealand at the World Cup. I’d take him at Rangers, depending on how much Motherwell want for him. Cracking wee player.
I’m surprised Rice committed his future to Rangers to be honest. A loan move to Kilmarnock next season would be ideal for him. Hopefully he can kick on, like Curtis did. I am a little concerned that McInnes is not renowned for developing young players though.
Bailey Rice has agreed terms with Rangers and a new contract will be finalised in the coming days.
@RangersReview55 understands Rice is set for a loan deal to gain first team experience.
Kilmarnock lead the race to sign the 19-year-old this summer ⤵️

For all the Americans asking if there’s anyone left in Scotland. Type the following into TikTok: ‘The Hydro Scotland World Cup’ or ‘Merchant Square Scotland World Cup’. That’s just two venues in Glasgow, at 2am. Meanwhile every local pub was bouncing. Makes ye proud 🏴
Dick Advocaat in tears when Curcucao scored against Germany, the Tartan Army on brilliant form in Boston and Cape Verde fighting for a well deserved point against Spain - maybe expanding the World Cup was for the best afterall.
Looks like Danny Röhl is away to RB Salzburg. At 37 years old I think he has the potential to go on to be a top coach in the future but Rangers is not a club to learn on the job and I didn’t feel he was the right fit for the here and now. I wish him all the best for the future.
When Derek McInnes is announced as Rangers manager I wonder if he will return to Hearts for any of their players. Cammy Devlin is out of contract whilst Braga was obviously their standout last season 🤷🏻♂️
Derek McInnes as manager with McCrorie, Graham, Penrice, Watt and Ferguson added on top of Kelly, Souttar, Barron*, Curtis and Shankland - there’s yer Rangers/Scottish core. It’s VERY important that’s then complimented with real quality.
It’s looking more likely to be Derek McInnes and it appears from the responses to my previous tweets that I may be in the minority when I say this but I’m totally underwhelmed and unconvinced this is a good appointment.
I’m going to say it, McInnes is a no from me. I understand he knows the club and league but his style of football is rotten and I don’t think it or he translates to a big club who dominate with expectations to win every game. I also find him insufferable, despite his allegiance.
