My oldest brother, one of the biggest reasons why I love the game of football as much as I do, passed away this morning.
One of my favorite memories was going to his house to watch our Miami Dolphins completely stump the Patriots in the Wildcat Game.

Character and medical no doubt have massive impacts on a big board.
Can't really wrap my head on the scheme fit part tho. Like if a D ran heavy 3 high safeties would they launch Safeties up a big board by multiple deviations vs. a media consensus board? Idk

The consensus board conversation is interesting. When I was scouting we never once looked at what media’s rankings were or cross referenced them with ours. Not saying right or wrong. But a team makes their board with much more than film. Character, medical, and scheme fit help shape the board which can’t necessarily be said for the media consensus board.

Draft grades should be strictly about a teams draft process (positional value reaches steals etc.). You should treat them as pole positions in a highly competitive race.
If your team got a D- they have a bad pole position but that doesn't mean they can't win the race!

Everyone loves draft grades and I totally get that. Just keep in mind that grades are being put on tests that haven't been taken yet.
