Friends & Followers: Exciting times here at CFBDepth, and we wanted to give an update on what we have going on. We will take a content break over the next 2-3 weeks to focus on our “Move to 26” project, which includes intensive research, database scrubbing, and, eventually, a clean projected depth chart and projected playing time for all 138 FBS schools in 2026. This will feed our charts at the site, populate our pre-season magazine, State of the Chart, and begin a series of articles here to get you more prepped than you’ve ever been heading into a college football season. We're working on website upgrades and tool development that will take us all to the next level. So, enjoy a little ‘break’ as we embark on a HUGE 2026…thank you for your support!

We mourn the passing of Gavin Yates-Lyons. We extend sincere condolences to his family, friends, coaches, teammates and all who held him close. May you find comfort and strength during this challenging moment.

The Year that Was: 2025 Magazine is out for CFBDepth members and it’s great! My favorite feature by far is the 2025 draft class regrades for every team. Getting to see which freshmen made immediate impacts and which ones didn’t quite live up to the hype in Year 1 is gold.
