I'm happy to finally release an early version of a little database, free for all to use in analysis. I've added all Chelsea 25/26 match reports so far for all competitions. I hope to add past seasons and more detailed stats too in the future. sites.google.com/view/the-da…

He’s genuinely the worst shot stopper i’ve seen in a while. In the middle of the crime scene literally everytime I see a goal go in against his team
us having 1 shot on target against Verbruggen over 180 minutes is a disgrace. Could've popped off shots from the half way line and some of them would've gone in

It’s why Enzo Fernandez was removed from the team for two games and Cucurella was not. Both should never have done interviews but Cucurella was at least honest, and spoke truthfully about what this club needed. Enzo Fernandez just said he was unhappy and pandered to Real Madrid
Replying to @CFCAnalytic
The reality is the interview and Enzo Fernandez’s comments derailed the season, Rosenior’s Chelsea career and the rest of our season. Neither should’ve done what they did, though I have more sympathy for Cucurella’s because it did ultimately help us.

Good sale for a good price (one we were looking for and one we would’ve found it hard to get with Atletico Madrid). Enzo Fernandez on the way out will be next. I have no issues with the sale. Ageing, tired and ultimately a limitation. If we hadn’t made it, we’d complain.
🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Real Madrid reach verbal agreement to sign Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, HERE WE GO! Verbal agreement in place between all parties, player too — he’s the left back wanted by Mourinho. Details to follow. Cucurella leaves #CFC and joins Madrid after World Cup. ⚪️🇪🇸

Also led to believe £43M is on the lowest of estimations in the money we received from this sale.

Cucurella’s personality is overstated. Pioneered alongside Enzo Fernandez a semi-revolt against the sitting manager of Chelsea just because he missed “Maresca”. Yes, his interview was much smarter and honest but let’s not act like he was a saint.
Whilst I love Cucurella I'm not necessarily THAT bothered depending on the fee and formation we're playing next season. Hato looks great, Cucu's season wasn't as good as before but that being said - he was one of our more reliable players and a HUGE personality.

I had little problem with Cucurella’s interview because it was a necessary evil to hopefully push the club in the right direction (looks like it may have) but the interview was only done because he was out anyway.

This is insane
We've got this incredible feature on the BBC through the World Cup. For games the BBC cover, you can watch the games live (or back) in this 3D space, freely controlling the camera angle or viewing it in first person from any players' POV. Top for tactical insight. See here: 3d-bbc.co.uk/

Biggest disease on this app is when people circle the ball in screenshots like it tells you something. Most performative analysis ever.

Issue I’ve always had with Buchanan is he never has *it* All the physical attributes are there. Fast, can hold off defenders well but he never does enough for me. No natural instinct to really abuse his physical traits

I still have reservations on his physicality but the performance should be evidence he’s more than good enough technically.

Another great game from Barco. If he wasn’t already known to Chelsea & played for a team in Spain, many fans would be asking for his signing. A player who will do well under Xabi and can play multiple positions.

Morgan Rogers & his team are beggining to realise that although Arsenal have made contact with players team, they also have eyes elsewhere and he’s not been given the attention of being their number 1 priority.

Random thoughts on Rosenior but I feel his praise for our players at points was tooooo heavy. Like yes, it’s always so important to talk about their qualities to the media. But I also feel he made them feel too flawless, calling many world class and the best in the world.

As a manager you have to strike the balance between respect for your players but equally authority. It came across like he was overly privileged to be coaching them, and not a better balance of them also being privileged to be coached by him - which is how the dynamic is best.

This is the nuance I was talking about people not getting when I turned off replies (ironic). It is still up in the air. Rogers hasn't 100% committed to Arsenal. Anyone saying that is lying.

Transfer rumours etc. aside, what is everyone’s thoughts on Rogers to Arsenal? Good fit, bad fit?

Reports of Morgan Rogers wanting Arsenal are pretty wide of the mark. Chelsea have done a lot of groundwork on him for almost a year now.

The original post is worded too harshly. My point is not that he doesn’t want Arsenal, but more at the accounts saying it’s 100% nailed on only Arsenal. Which isn’t true. Still up in the air.

Replies also off so my notifs don’t explode from very insecure Arsenal fans who don’t understand an ounce of nuance.
