100% agree. Do not pay people who claim they will get you recruited. You and your family will do more for your recruiting than anyone. You just need to learn how to do it.

RECRUITs: RED 🚩 FLAGS What are they? Issues programs have with recruiting the recruit. Examples: 🚩 No Grades 🚩 Eligibility Issues 🚩 Awful Teammate 🚩 Trouble w/ The Law 🚩 Laziness 🚩 Bad Attitude 🚩 No Respect for Self & Others #Recruiting101

Make your decisions carefully about where you play and transferring. With players transferring due to playing opportunities because of covid, there is a new set of decisions in play on transfers.
RECRUITs: If you transfer MULTIPLE TIMES in high school or college this sends a natural RED 🚩FLAG and raises INSTANT questions to college and NFL evaluators. #Recruiting101

I feel like this is going to make things a bit confusing on the recruiting trail
Source: NCAA D1 Council voted today to allow fall sport players to compete in *any* amount of competition this year and it not count toward a season of eligibility. The Board must approve it Friday. (@PeteThamel first reported)

Lots of opportunities to play and get a great education for the class of 21. If you wanna play the opportunity is there. @TaylorBarton12 @BrandonHuffman
If you are a high school senior right now without a Division 1 offer. Now is the time to understand that if you want to play college football you are going D2, NAIA, D3, or juco. Great educations received at those schools. Be grateful for the opportunity. Answer the phone!

Big change in NCAA eligibility requirements for the C/O 21. Go to collegefootballrecruiting.co… to get latest updates and links to NCAA info.

2021 HS grads: No ACT/SAT score will be required for DI or DII initial eligibility. Over the coming year, NCAA members will conduct a broad review of the continued use of ACT/SAT scores in NCAA initial eligibility standards. Read more on.ncaa.com/tghk2

...and college coaches will be talking almost exclusively with kids/players. It's Important recruits develop this skill in high school to prepare for recruiting and college.

Parents of High School aged athletes: if your son is old enough to drive a car, he is old enough to be the one communicating with the coach. They need to learn this skill and take responsibility. Parents: funnel your questions through the player.

Want some unwarranted advice on a Friday afternoon? If you're LUCKY enough to be recruited, you need to treat every coach who reaches out to you like they're the first one ever to do so. You never know how things will shake out. Stay forever humble & forever inspired for more.

This will have an impact on classes of 21 and 22. Colleges won't be signing classes of 20-25 due to lack of attrition.
RECRUITs: This affects current college players and YOU. If the NCAA doesn’t make amendments to scholarship numbers this will affect who can sign you. If schools aren’t losing players how will they sign players? Scholarships a Year: FBS - 85 FCS - 63 DII - 36 #Recruiting101

C/O 21...keep putting your work in however possible. Take control of your recruiting now and build those relationships with coaches. Hard work now pays off in December.
C/O ‘21 HS kids is who I feel the worst for if season is canceled. Won’t be near as many scholarships available. Bad deal for everyone involved.
