Great work by our team!
Chemistry interns in action! Performing color tests in the lab to identify and characterize substances through observable reactions. Hands-on experience like this builds practical skills and insight into forensic chemistry. #forensicscience
Introducing our summer intern, Barry Chen!
Barry is a rising junior at La Salle University studying Accounting & Finance. As our Business Operations & Communications Intern, he’s excited to gain hands-on experience and support CFSRE’s mission.
Last week we welcomed Dr. Christian Westring from the Niagara County Sheriff's Office!
He shared swabbing techniques for maximizing trace DNA recovery from firearms, giving our students and staff valuable forensic insights.
Thank you for supporting future forensic scientists!
Join us for Forensic DNA Dialogues! Host Charla Marshall sits down with Dr. Walther Parson to discuss mitochondrial DNA and scientific collaboration. Don’t miss insights from a leader in forensic genetics live Q&A!
🗓️ June 17, 2026 | 1 PM EDT
Fall 2026 field trips are OPEN! Students in grades 8–12 can explore forensic science with hands-on Biology, Chemistry & Toxicology labs built around a mock case.
