The four clubs are Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool. What this means is they have signalled their intent to claim compensation if (more like when) Man City is sanctioned for the breaches. They must make this claim via the Independent Commission that is currently adjudicating the case. Other clubs may still also apply for compensation but: a) I donโ€™t think their claims will be as effective as those named above; and b) By not reserving their rights prior to 5 November like those 4, they ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜บ not be successful with a claim. Claims for compensation will result from damages arising due to the sporting impact of Man Cityโ€™s charged breaches. I have previously posted a detailed analysis on the potential sporting implication of Man Cityโ€™s charges, linked at the bottom of this post. The analysis identifies: i) That all of Man Cityโ€™s major player acquisitions made during that period can be tied back to the disguised equity injections they have been charged with; and ii) Which teams may have missed out on the Title or UCL qualification because Man City finished ahead of them by a number of points that could plausibly have been overcome had they not breached the rules. Part ii) is entirely subjective and this is something the Independent Commission will need to decide upon. As such, I have been conservative in my assessment. For example, in 2013/14, Man City won the league with 86 points and Everton placed 5th with 72 points. My assumption is that Everton would have weak grounds to argue that Man Cityโ€™s breaches had a 14 point impact. They clearly feel the same way given they have not reserved their rights. But you can review the analysis in the thread and form your own conclusions on thisโ€ฆ

Maybe thatโ€™s why they think Man City will only get a slap on the wrist for the charges? As such, I wanted to do some indicative analysis, year by year, on the potential scale of sporting impact. For this analysis, I will not incorporate the potential impact of the charges relating to off-the-books remuneration and instead, only focus on the potential impact of the charges for disguised equity injections. Reading the leaked emails, they outline ongoing arrangements to subvert FFP by the following amounts: ยฃ69.5m annually from 2011/12, increasing to ยฃ92.5m annually in 2013/14, increasing to ยฃ122.5m annually in 2015/16 and carrying on until the 2017/18 season (at least). The Der Spiegel leaks came in November 2018 and so itโ€™s not possible to know what actions took place for 2018/19 onwards. Converting to Euros at the time, this means the emails discussed subversion of FFP/PSR rules to the tune of: 2011/12 - โ‚ฌ77.2m 2012/13 - โ‚ฌ80.1m 2013/14 - โ‚ฌ106.3m 2014/15 - โ‚ฌ117.1m 2015/16 - โ‚ฌ170.1m 2016/17 - โ‚ฌ145.0m 2017/18 - โ‚ฌ136.9m โ‚ฌ833m total over the 7 seasons Letโ€™s take a look at the potential impact of these injections, season by season ๐Ÿงต

I donโ€™t really do endorsements. Iโ€™m not shy about sharing my views, but I hate politics and donโ€™t trust most politicians. I also understand that people want to hear from me because I am not just a celebrity, I am a former Republican Governor. My time as Governor taught me to love policy and ignore politics. Iโ€™m proud of the work I did to help clean up our air, create jobs, balance the budget, make the biggest infrastructure investment in state history, and take power from the politicians and give it back to the people when it comes to our redistricting process and our primaries in California. Thatโ€™s policy. It requires working with the other side, not insulting them to win your next election, and I know it isnโ€™t sexy to most people, but I love it when I can help make peopleโ€™s lives better with policies, like I still do through my institute at USC, where we fight for clean air and stripping the power from the politicians who rig the system against the people. Let me be honest with you: I donโ€™t like either party right now. My Republicans have forgotten the beauty of the free market, driven up deficits, and rejected election results. Democrats arenโ€™t any better at dealing with deficits, and I worry about their local policies hurting our cities with increased crime. It is probably not a surprise that I hate politics more than ever, which, if you are a normal person who isnโ€™t addicted to this crap, you probably understand. I want to tune out. But I canโ€™t. Because rejecting the results of an election is as un-American as it gets. To someone like me who talks to people all over the world and still knows America is the shining city on a hill, calling America is a trash can for the world is so unpatriotic, it makes me furious. And I will always be an American before I am a Republican. Thatโ€™s why, this week, I am voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Iโ€™m sharing it with all of you because I think there are a lot of you who feel like I do. You donโ€™t recognize our country. And you are right to be furious. For decades, weโ€™ve talked about the national debt. For decades, weโ€™ve talked about comprehensive immigration reform that secures the border while fixing our broken immigration system. And Washington does nothing. The problems just keep rolling, and we all keep getting angrier, because the only people that benefit from problems arenโ€™t you, the people. The only people that benefit from this crap are the politicians who prefer having talking points to win elections to the public service that will make Americansโ€™ lives better. It is a just game to them. But it is life for my fellow Americans. We should be pissed! But a candidate who wonโ€™t respect your vote unless it is for him, a candidate who will send his followers to storm the Capitol while he watches with a Diet Coke, a candidate who has shown no ability to work to pass any policy besides a tax cut that helped his donors and other rich people like me but helped no one else else, a candidate who thinks Americans who disagree with him are the bigger enemies than China, Russia, or North Korea - that wonโ€™t solve our problems. It will just be four more years of bullshit with no results that makes us angrier and angrier, more divided, and more hateful. We need to close the door on this chapter of American history, and I know that former President Trump wonโ€™t do that. He will divide, he will insult, he will find new ways to be more un-American than he already has been, and we, the people, will get nothing but more anger. Thatโ€™s enough reason for me to share my vote with all of you. I want to move forward as a country, and even though I have plenty of disagreements with their platform, I think the only way to do that is with Harris and Walz. Vote this week. Turn the page and put this junk behind us. And even if you disagree with me, vote, because thatโ€™s what we do as Americans. vote.org

I made this offer once before and will do so again nowโ€ฆ the linked thread below dissects the publicly available emails connected to the charges on disguising equity as sponsorship income. If anyone can provide a plausible argument for the existence of these emails other than for the subversion of the rules, I will delete ALL my threads on Man Cityโ€™s 115. Every single one. Iโ€™d actually love to be proved wrong because it would mean the 12 years of PL football werenโ€™t a rigged piece of BS. Soโ€ฆ have at it!

I received many comments on my previous thread analysing the evidence used by Uefa in its 2020 prosecution of Man City for breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP), asking me to go into more detail about what other evidence exists and why things might be different this time around when Man City face an Independent Commission later this year for the 115 charges of breaching Premier League rules. If you have not read this prior thread, I would suggest doing so before continuing as it offers vital context. You can find it here: x.com/santismagic/status/179โ€ฆ If you are completely new to this topic and donโ€™t know any of the background or whatโ€™s going on with it currently, I would suggest starting with this first thread where I cover the background behind the charges against Man City: x.com/santismagic/status/179โ€ฆ In this new thread weโ€™ll explore just how much trouble Man City is in by analysing publicly available evidence that underpins the Premier Leagueโ€™s 115 charges for breaching FFP rules. There will be more evidence not in the public domain but the vast body of evidence that served as the catalyst for the 115 charges is available for all to see. I am referring to the Football Leaks documents produced by German publication Der Spiegel over the past 6 years, where they reveal emails hacked from Man Cityโ€™s servers that outline a complex, covert operation to breach FFP on a massive scale with no-one finding out. I will seek to breakdown the evidence and showcase how to it might be used to prosecute Man City. ๐™๐™๐™š ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ญ๐™ฉโ€ฆ Der Spiegel has written several articles about the emails and how they outline the way Man City would covertly breach FFP by disguising injections of the ownerโ€™s money (equity) as legitimate sponsorship revenues; conspiring with the sponsors to funnel the ownerโ€™s money through the sponsorsโ€™ accounts. A download of the first large cache of email leaks can be found here: cdn.prod.www.spiegel.de/mediโ€ฆ This makes up the bulk of the evidence that I analyse in this thread. Man City revealed at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) that as many as 5.5 million documents had been obtained from the hack. As such, itโ€™s possible there are more incriminating emails not yet released by Der Spiegel for public consumption. In the past, Der Spiegel has released new, unseen content in response to judgments and new revelations. The 6 emails that Man City provided as originals during its CAS hearing against Uefa are just the tip of the iceberg when compared with the whole cache though. For reference, the CAS judgment and original copies of the 6 emails can be found here: tas-cas.org/fileadmin/user_uโ€ฆ What I will cover in this thread is to examine just how damaging the entire cache (released by Der Spiegel so far) could be to Man City at the Independent Commission (IC) empanelled by the Premier League to adjudicate on the 115 charges. This will build on the analysis I undertook in my previous thread, which examined 5/6 of the original emails provided by Man City. And since whenever evidence against Man City surfaces, you will also find an ardent City fan immediately dismiss it with โ€œCAS said we did nothing wrongโ€โ€ฆ I will also cover how it all fits in with what happened at CAS too. The IC should commence soon and hopefully resolve the matter before summer next year.

I attach it here. Unfortunately for them, this out of context collection of findings has deceived them into thinking City was cleared at CAS and is in the clear. Theyโ€™re in for a shock. Uefa caved to improper pressure and delaying tactics by Man City and went into the CAS hearing with less than 3% of the available evidence. Had they refused to be bullied and instead, insisted that all evidence be submitted, then there would be no statements saying โ€œno evidenceโ€. In finding 290 of the attached, CAS makes clear that Man City execs sought to subvert FFP and believed it was happening - for years. A majority of the CAS Panel (2/3) said that the few emails they had did not prove the plan was ever put into action though. Funnily enough, the few emails that were submitted did in fact provide evidence it had happened though! As you can see in the attached email from Man Cityโ€™s Head of Finance (Andrew Widdowson), he openly admits the sponsors had already performed the requests previously. This is evidence of action. It would have been possible for the CAS Panel to deem it โ€˜insufficient evidenceโ€™ but for a majority to state there was โ€œno evidenceโ€ was incorrect - and potentially maliciously so. The independence of 2/3 CAS arbitrators was called into question after reporters performed background checks on them. They had connections to the sponsors accused of conspiring with Man City, as well as the oil & gas industry. As such, making such a blatant error certainly appears highly suspicious. Not that it matters. The farce of CAS is all in the past. The IC is the present. And Man Cityโ€™s expulsion/relegation from the PL is the (near) future.

I came to the conclusion that the mainstream media outlets donโ€™t raise it because theyโ€™re afraid of Man Cityโ€™s financial power and inclination to pursue litigation. And I think the reason its not discussed on social media is because the evidence is not so blatant if you donโ€™t understand corporate financial matters and terminology. So here is a thread, putting some the most damning evidence of Man Cityโ€™s cheating in the spotlight and breaking it down in a way that anyone can make sense of. ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐˜, ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐˜…๐˜โ€ฆ In November 2018, German Publication โ€œDer Spiegelโ€ released their first story about how Man City had been subverting Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules. These rules, introduced in Uefa competitions in 2011/12 and the Premier League in 2012/13, prevented clubs from undertaking unlimited spending using debt or owner funds (known as equity). Instead, clubs were required to spend what they โ€œearnedโ€ such as from matchday income, broadcast revenue or commercial deals, such as sponsorships / partnerships. The storyโ€™s source was a cache of leaked emails that Der Spiegel had obtained between Man City executives and board members, including the Chief Executive Office (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The emails, which are numerous and took place over many years, go into precise detail about how Man City sought to subvert FFP rules by disguising equity payments from the owner as sponsorship revenue, by channelling the funds through the sponsorsโ€™ accounts. Man Cityโ€™s owner is the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), which is ultimately owned by Sheikh Mansour. Uefa estimated that by cheating FFP in this way, Man City was able to spend hundreds of millions more that it should have been, distorting the transfer market and destroying the sporting integrity of the Premier League. The emails analysed in this thread are the emails that Man City themselves provided as โ€œoriginalsโ€ during adjudication.
