CGA research students, David and Sarah, have been working on mapping commemorative objects, like memorial plaques or structures, on W&M campus to document location, description, and condition to assist W&M Facilities and Risk Management in maintaining these items.

CGA research students, Thara and Logan, have been working closely with the City of Williamsburg to assist in locating and understanding fire hydrant range capabilities in the greater Williamsburg area.

CGA research student Sierra has been working to georeference and digitize a historic land parcels from a 1798 Dutch map in Guyana to contribute to the research being done by Dr. Catie Peters at the Omohundro Institute.

Elizabeth is a CGA research student working on mapping bike racks on campus! Elizabeth has learned how to use FieldMaps and GPS to create surveys and collect data that Parking & Transportation can use to manage and maintain bike racks at W&M.
