Today, Columbia Football paused to recognize the life and legacy of Coach Steven Arthur Chamberlin as he is laid to rest.
Coach Chamberlin was the longest-serving assistant football coach in Columbia High School history. Across generations of Tigers, he dedicated countless hours to the young men of this community and to a program he faithfully served for decades.
His impact extended far beyond the football field. Through his commitment, mentorship, and unwavering love for Columbia High School, Coach Chamberlin helped shape the lives of players, coaches, and families throughout Lake City.
While today’s service marks the end of a remarkable earthly journey, his influence will continue to be felt on our sidelines, in our locker room, and in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
We honor his service. We celebrate his legacy. We thank him for everything he gave to Columbia Football.
Rest easy, Coach.
