Clarkston Varsity Wolves battled against Lakeland Varsity Eagles but fell 12-1. The Wolves collected seven hits on the night, led by B Bond who went 3-for-3 and R Allen who added two hits. Ella Charter provided the offensive highlight with a solo home run, accounting for Clarkston’s lone run. S Kramer also contributed a hit, while the team showed effort on the bases with a stolen base from B Bond. Despite the tough result, the Wolves continued to compete throughout the game and had several strong individual performances at the plate.

Clarkston Varsity Wolves dominated both games of the doubleheader against Adams, outscoring their opponent 23-0 in two complete team performances. The Wolves combined strong pitching, aggressive base running, and timely hitting to sweep the day. In Game 1, Clarkston earned a 14-0 victory behind an explosive offense with 11 hits. E. Miller led the charge with 3 hits and 4 RBIs, while Ella Charter added a home run and 2 RBIs. A. Floros scored 3 runs and stole four bases, helping ignite the offense. The Wolves were aggressive on the bases all game and played clean softball from start to finish. Game 2 ended in another shutout win, 9-0. A. Floros powered the offense with a home run, 3 runs scored, and 2 walks. A. Roan added 2 hits and an RBI, while S. Bordes and R. Allen each contributed extra-base hits and RBIs. Clarkston continued to pressure offensively while the defense and pitching staff held Adams scoreless for the second straight game. Clarkston Varsity Wolves battled their way to an exciting 8-7 victory over Allen Park in a hard-fought game. The Wolves totaled 9 hits and showed power at the plate, led by B. Bond who had a huge performance with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. R. Allen added 3 hits, while S. Bordes contributed 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Ella Charter and L. Scanlon each chipped in a hit and a run scored. In the circle, L. Scanlon went the distance, pitching all 7 innings and battling through pressure situations to earn the win. Defensively, Clarkston stayed resilient and found ways to respond when challenged. The Wolves showed determination, timely hitting, and grit to secure the one-run victory.

The Clarkston Varsity and JV teams spent a great day at Oakland University, enjoying some high-level softball and even better team bonding. It was a fun, relaxed opportunity for the players to connect, support each other, and grow stronger as a program. Days like this highlight the positive energy and spirit these girls bring! After transitioning to center field, Amelia has been nothing short of outstanding as she tracks down tough balls, making diving plays, and coming up with clutch catches that keep her team in the game. Her impact goes beyond defense. At the plate, she competes every at-bat, and on the bases, she’s a relentless, aggressive runner who puts pressure on opponents. Amelia is a true leader and playmaker looked up to by her teammates.

The Wolves put together a solid offensive performance in their doubleheader, finishing with a .316 team batting average, 18 hits, and 17 runs scored. The lineup showed balance from top to bottom, combining timely hitting with power and patience at the plate. Leading the way, Leanne Scanlon had a standout day, hitting .750 with 3 hits, while Madison Gallant added efficiency at .500. Elyse Miller continued to be consistent, going .429 with multiple hits, and both Sophia Bordes and Reagan Allen contributed with .333 averages and key production. The power came through in a big way with 5 total home runs. Sophia Bordes and Annabelle Roan each launched 2 home runs, combining for 8 RBIs, while Brooke Bond added another homer and drove in 4 runs. The Wolves finished strong at the Anchor Bay Varsity Tournament, going 2-0-1 in pool play. Despite the undefeated record, they narrowly missed out on first place in their pool by just four runs. A competitive showing all around, with the team proving they can hang with anyone when they bring their energy and execution. The Wolves put together a strong offensive showing over their 3 tournament games. The Clarkston Wolves squared off against the Lake Orion Dragons in a high-energy league doubleheader on 4/23/26 and came away with a split and a statement win. Game one went to the Dragons, 13-2, but the Wolves didn’t hang their heads……they regrouped💪🏼 In game two, down by 5 runs going in to the bottom of the 1st inning……Clarkston came out swinging and never let up. The Wolves exploded offensively, racking up 13 hits and putting up 17 runs in a 17-10 victory. The bats were alive, the energy was high, and the defense locked in when it mattered most to seal the deal. Even bigger????? This win marks the first victory for Clarkston over Lake Orion since 2019. Clarkston split a doubleheader with Goodrich High School, dropping game one 15–0 before bouncing back with an 8–4 win in game two. After a tough opener, Clarkston came alive offensively in the second game, tallying eight hits and showing a much stronger approach at the plate. The Wolves combined timely hitting with improved energy to secure the split and finish the day on a high note. Freshman, Reagen Allen hit a solo homerun, her second of the season.
