NEA collection day for the Year 12 geographers. A wet and blustery day investigating Merthyr Mawr sand dunes and regeneration / accessibility and inclusion in Porthcawl. Great work. @FSCMargam
Team Geography has been investigating the seaside town of Porthcawl. Practising field work techniques such as environmental quality assessments and clone town surveys, plus analysing the quality of the local doughnuts.
Team Biology headed out to Bracelet Bay for their rocky shore investigation. Measuring limpet size and seaweed coverage at different points on the shore. @FSCMargam
Year 12 geographers encountered sun, sea and beach sediment on Newton Beach, South Wales. A chance to practise field techniques and some statistics. @FSCMargam
Our final post from New Barn - Year Four have been simply wonderful! The teachers are super proud of the children and we have seen all the Cranford Values on show, particularly our favourite; generosity of spirit. This is Year Four… signing off!
