While I didn't know Deng personally I do know what it's like to lose your UND people, and it hurts like hell.
But for what it's worth there are few groups better to lean on than your UND family in hard times.

We are heartbroken by the loss of former student-athlete Deng Mayar, who passed away on Saturday. He was 22.
We extend are deepest condolences to Deng's family, teammates, friends and classmates. They are all in our thoughts and prayers

An exceptionally classless move by a spectator in Chicago.
Don't call them a fan because they don't deserve that distinction.
The people in the comments calling @ketel_marte4 soft for his reaction clearly know very little about the profoundness of his loss

Absolutely disgusting.
It is confirmed that a fan yelled something to Ketel Marte about his mother who passed away from a car accident in 2017.

I grew up in Modesto, and went to a lot of games as a kid when they were an Oakland affiliate. Now I live near Seattle and have attended many games here as an adult. I am incredibly disappointed that the Mariners and the City of Modesto were unable to reach a new lease agreement.

Here is the best footage I have at the moment. In this video my team (the two african american boys with the afros, and the guy in the bright lime sweater in the back) Were carefully distracted by the 3 people you see in hats showing their phones.
