Due to tomorrow’s weather our Lena Park testing and vaccination site will have a delayed opening. Our Bolling Municipal Building testing site will operate at normal business hours. Stay safe and warm!
Boston is in a cold emergency beginning today and ending on Sunday. We urge residents to stay home if possible and to heat their homes safely. @BCYFcenters will be open as warming centers.
ALT Cold weather safety. Avoiding frostbite: Wear several layers of loose-fitting, lightweight, warm clothing rather than one layer of heavy clothing. Wear mittens over gloves in extreme weather. Always wear a hat that covers your ears and cover your mouth with a scarf to protect your lungs. Dress children warmly and set reasonable limits on outdoor play.
ALT Cold weather safety. Winter fun safety tips: Dress children in warm, bright colors and set time limits on outdoor play. Don't ski, ice skate, snowboard, or sled alone and make sure children (and adults) wear helmets. If outside for long periods of time, take breaks, and if you do get wet, change clothes immediately to avoid hypothermia.
ALT Cold weather safety. Heating safety tips: Use home heating systems and space heating appliances responsibly. Never try to heat your home using the kitchen stove or other products not designed as a heater as these can cause a fire or produce dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. Using faulty or improper heating sources is the second leading cause of home fires in Massachusetts. Have your heating system cleaned and checked annually.
Due to this weekend's extreme cold temperatures, our standing COVID-19 vaccination and testing sites at the Bruce C. Bolling Building and Lena Park Community Center will be closed today and Saturday. Normal hours of operation will resume on Sunday.

Hey, Boston! On Saturday, July 2nd, Cambridge will be closing early at 1 pm and remain closed the following days of Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th. The Bruce C. Bolling location will be closed on July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
As a company dedicated to advancing public health, there is always a lot of work to be done. This year we served over 3,000 schools in 4 states with COVID-19 testing strategies, began piloting new testing technology, and set our sights on some pretty big goals for the future.
During the week of July 4-8, CIC Health is taking a recess and will operate with a reduced staff. With any urgent questions please contact our team at support@cic-health.com and they will be happy to assist.
Hey, Boston! We’re moving, but don’t worry — it’s not far.
On July 1, the COVID-19 testing site in the Bruce C. Bolling Building will move just to the other side of the building. Our new address is 2302 Washington Street. Thank you for testing and keeping your community safe!
(1/3) Today is a sad day for America.
We believe in an individual’s right to choose when or when not to start or grow a family, and that the individual themselves should be the final decision maker when it comes to their own reproductive health.
(2/3) This decision will disproportionately affect low-income communities and people of color, and will not lead to fewer abortions, but instead fewer safe abortions.
